This guide provides detailed instructions for your presentations at the APRU Global Health Conference 2025. Please follow all requirements carefully to ensure smooth participation in the conference.

e-Poster Presentation

This guide provides detailed instructions for the preparation, submission, and presentation of your e-poster at the APRU Global Health Conference 2025. Please follow all requirements carefully to ensure smooth participation in the conference. 

1. General Requirements 

  • Language: All e-posters must be prepared in English. 
  • Write the title in title case, not all capitals. 
  • Compulsory contents:
    – Author’s name/s
    – Author’s organisation logo/s
    – Contact details (email/website/etc.)
  • File Format: Save and submit as a single-page PDF file.

    Using PowerPoint: Click Save As or Export as PDF.
  • Orientation: Use portrait layout.
  • File Size: The PDF must be less than 2 MB.
  • Resolution: Full High Definition (1080 x 1920 pixels)

2. Design and Layout 

  • Fonts: Arial/Calibri/Verdana/Times New Roman/Helvetica. 
  • Recommended Font Size:
    Title: 72 pt
    Headings: 44 – 54 pt
    Body Text: 28 – 32 pt
  • Images and Tables: Ensure a minimum resolution of 200 dpi for high-quality visuals. 
  • File Name: Name your file according to your ID_Presenting Author. Example: 46_Stella.pdf

Keep all text (headings and body text) to a minimum. Posters are often viewed during conference breaks or during busy sessions, so viewers don’t have much time to read a lot. ‘Chunk’ text into digestible bites using small paragraphs, bullet lists, or text boxes. 

3. Content Restrictions 

  • Not permitted: hyperlinks, animated images or embedded videos. 
  • Permitted: QR codes are allowed. 

4. On-site Display 

  • The e-Posters will be displayed on digital screens and will run in continuous loops throughout the conference.
  • Your poster will be visible to all participants during the conference sessions and tea/lunch breaks. 

5. Presenter Engagement 

  • Presenters are encouraged to be available beside their poster during scheduled breaks. 
  • This allows for formal discussions, interaction with peers, and the opportunity to answer questions from delegates. 
  • Co-authors are welcome to assist with discussions if the primary presenter is unavailable. 

6. Template 

  • You may prepare your e-Poster using any application or software of your choice. However, please ensure that it follows all the instructions and specifications provided above. You may download the poster background below.
  • For your convenience, you may also download and use the ready-made e-poster template provided below.

The deadline for submission is 21 October 2025 at 11:59 PM (Kuala Lumpur Time).

List the authors in the abstract in order of their contributions or sequence. The author’s name should be separated by commas. The author’s name should be written as “Last Name Initials,” e.g, Smith LM, Snow J.
List the author affiliation’s according to the list of authors.

Oral Presentation

This guide is designed to help you prepare for your presentation at the APRU Global Health Conference 2025. Please follow all requirements carefully to ensure smooth participation in the conference. 

Presenter Information 

  • Only presenters who have paid registration fees will be included in the programme.
  • Each presenter will have 10 minutes in total: 
    – 7-minute presentation.
    – 3 minutes Q&A / discussion. 
  • Strict timekeeping will be enforced to ensure smooth session flow. 
  • Conference computers will be provided (Office 2019 or later available); personal laptops are not permitted for presentations. 

PowerPoint Presentation Guidelines 

  • Prepare slides in PowerPoint (.PPT or .PPTX) or PDF format. 
  • Use Widescreen ratio (16:9).
  • Fonts: Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana, Calibri (avoid special fonts that may not display correctly). 
  • The first slide must include the presentation title and the presenter’s name. 
  • We kindly advise against using video presentations, as they may cause delays due to potential technical issues.

We also encourage presenters to submit their slides early, by 21 October 2025 at 11:59 PM (Kuala Lumpur Time), to help us ensure a professional and seamless conference flow. Kindly submit your slides using the link below.
