DESCRIPTION:\nAbout the Competition\nThe APRU Global Health Program is orga
 nising the 11th Annual Student Poster Contest Rules 2025 in conjunction wi
 th the 18th APRU Global Health Conference 2025.\nEligibility\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
 Current full-time undergraduate and graduate students from any university 
 are invited to submit an academic poster to the contest.\nYou must submit 
 the final poster\, along with a separate written abstract of up to 300 wor
 ds about the poster.\nPostdoctoral students are not eligible. However\, me
 dical students are eligible to apply as undergraduate or graduate students
  (depending upon your program).\nThe poster must be related to global heal
 th broadly.\nCollaborative poster presentations are acceptable\; however\,
  the student must be the first author. Please indicate if the poster is be
 ing submitted by more than one student.\nOnly one submission per student (
 as first author).\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPoster Submission and Presentation\n\n\n\n\
 n\n\nALL eligible student poster submissions will be automatically “acce
 pted” for the conference. They will be displayed virtually at the confer
 ence\, even if students cannot attend in person. Attendance at the confere
 nce is not required\, and there will be no poster presentation at the conf
 erence. \nA prize of USD500 will be awarded for the best undergraduate and
  best graduate posters (one in each category). Second and third place will
  also be awarded and will receive a certificate of the award\, but no cash
  prize will be offered.\nBy submitting\, you agree to have your poster inc
 luded in our conference programme\, displayed at the conference\, and on t
 he APRU website.\nStudents should choose to submit either to the regular c
 onference abstract submission (for consideration for an in-person oral pre
 sentation) OR the Student Poster Contest\, but not both.\nThe top three fi
 nalists in each category (undergraduate and graduate) will be notified by 
 September 15\, 2025. Top prizes will be announced during the conference.\n
 Please submit your poster through the conference website by 31 July 2025.\
 nStudent Poster Submissions need not pay the conference registration fees 
 if they are not planning to attend the APRU GHC Conference.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nP
 oster Requirements\n\n\n\nYou can use any program to create the poster\, s
 uch as MS PowerPoint\, Canva\, etc. The size of the poster should be A1 [5
 9.4 x 84.1 centimetres (cm) or 23.4 x 33.1 inches (in)]. The minimum font 
 size should be 18 pt. Posters should be only one page. Posters larger than
  that will NOT be eligible.\n\n\n\nThe poster must include the following:\
 n\n\n\n\n\n\nTitle\nNames of author(s) and affiliated organisations\nBackg
 round Information &amp\; Objectives\nMethods\nResults (tables\, graphs\, c

 nJudging\n\n\n\nOur international advisory group from different APRU unive
 rsities will judge the posters.\n\n\n\nJudging criteria are as follows:\n\

 hat extent does the work presented add to the existing body of knowledge? 
 Is it relevant to global health? Is it an interesting and original topic o
 r type of study?\n\n\nPurpose\nIs the purpose of the study clearly stated\
 , and is its importance discussed?\n\n\nMethods &amp\; Conclusions\nAre th
 e methods and analyses sound? Do the conclusions follow from the results p
 resented?\n\n\nPresentation\nIs the poster clear\, professional and well-e
